CFM 2015 – French Congress of Mechanics

The French Congress of Mechanics  attract up to 1200 participants in the site of “Cité des Congrès” near the city center of Lyon and very well connected. The CFM2015 will begin on Monday, August 24 at 12:00 and ends at 14:00 on Friday, 28. Balanced days (beginning at 8:30 am and end at 17:30) with 30 minutes for coffee breaks and 1:30 for lunch promote exchanges. 

The general topic of the conference concerns mechanics and Interfaces in engineering: mechanical and environmental integrity of structures under extreme loads, mechanical and natural environments (bio mimicry, soils, natural materials,…), acoustic (industrial, environment, perception, health, …) and mechanical contacts (surface coatings, adhesion, friction,…) … the goal is to participate in the consolidation of a modern vision of mechanics, omnipresent in social issues.

 

Plenary lectures will be entrusted to renowned personalities in attractive and emerging topics of discipline and several industrial operations experience will be programmed to highlight current and future scientific and technological issues. The essential and fundamental discipline contributions will be widely considered but particular attention will be paid to research topics emerging at the crossroads of several scientific disciplines. 

The ” CFM 2015 – Mechanical and interfaces” Project from the Lyon community is willing to show the relevance of mechanical research on often multi-physics and multi-disciplinary issues, but also remain attentive to the issues on innovative technology that established industries face.

The CFM2015 Lyon is at the heart of a major center for academic and industrial mechanics. Its pleasant center, with easy access and accommodation, scientific and

technical content, and interactions with related fields of mechanics, openings on international, industry facilities, the emphasis on training, provide a real appeal to

CFM2015.
