The institut Carnot Ingénierie@Lyon is proud to announce the scientific meeting “TRIBOLOGY: INTERACTIONS BEYOND THE SURFACE : A tribute to Prof. Jean-Marie Georges”, aims at remembering this great man’s vision of tribology as a multidisciplinary science with extended impact on everyday life. From his vision emerges the need for creating new interactions between scientific fields and communities, from school to industry.
This meeting, organized by LTDS, will consist of invited scientific talks from renowned scientists, from tribology and beyond, and two panel discussions on teaching methodology and onresearch/industry partnerships.
