RESUME

The CEIMPED project aims at developing and integrating an innovative transducer (generator, sensor) for the conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy within road and rail infrastructures, in the context of smart mobility and electricity production, currently limited by the investment cost and maintenance of devices and equipment.
The objectives of the project are (i) the improvement of an existing innovative architecture (already competitive without being optimized and patent pending), (ii) its customization at different scales using non-critical materials, and (iii) the integration of complementary technologies in order to develop quasi-industrial solutions.

This project allows a strong collaboration between two Carnot laboratories on this subject and should lead to reinforced collaborations. The expectations of this project include the propotyping and the realization of transducers at different scales and levels of complexity in embedded intelligence, by the valorization through publications and possibly a patent. The consortium's stated objective is to initiate collaborations with industrials on the basis of this work through contracting or answering calls for projects such as ANR or European.
